Passionate about quality and patient safety. For the past five years studied Improvement Science, currently working on development and implementation of the Trusts Improvement and Innovation Programme. Important aspects of the programme are building capacity for improvement to achieve excellence of care for all our patients and creating culture that encourages and enables spread of innovations.
Karlis also leads a group of expatriate Latvian healthcare specialist working under auspices of beeLV society with an aim to enable transfer of knowledge between Latvia and our home countries.
