Valdis Ģībietis has acquired Medical Degree in Riga Stradiņš University and is currently a Resident Doctor in the field of internal medicine. He is also a tutor in RSU Department of Internal Diseases in the courses of Cardiology and Introduction to Clinical Medicine. His professional and scientific interests include venous thromboembolism, amyloidosis and multidisciplinary approach to internal diseases. Valdis has published scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals regarding the topic of pulmonary embolism and participated in various international medical conferences. He was the project manager of RSU International Student Conference 2016.
